After a poor mock result I arranged tuition for English with Leanne in April. Wish I’d started earlier as every hour made a huge difference not only in my daughter’s abilities but also her confidence and organisational approach to answering exam questions. Lindsay was an absolute godsend. My daughter was struggling to get a 4 in her mocks, once we found Lindsay, her confidence, knowledge amd understanding of how to answer the questions improved dramatically. Lindsay gave her great advice and talked through the steps to answering the papers. Today, she achieved 6 in Literature and Language, we are so proud and grateful for the work Lindsay did every week.

My daughter found David (Science) and Leanne (Maths) both really helpful as tutors. The science sessions were quite small which meant there was lots of opportunity for her to have almost one on one support. She was encouraged to participate in both sessions and David and Leanne always checked in if she was taking a bit longer to respond with her answers. She definitely felt more confident going into her GCSE’s due to her tutoring sessions and we’d thoroughly recommend David and Leanne to anyone looking to add some extra learning opportunities into their child’s exam preparations.

I would highly recommend Leanne for Maths tuition. Leanne is very approachable and made it very relaxed. My son felt he had somewhere to ask those questions he wouldn’t at school and she took him through things at a speed that was right for him. This has huge benefit in my son releasing he could understand and it was great to see his confidence grow over the time with Leanne.

I can’t recommend David highly enough for science tuition. He created an environment that made my son believe he could do it whilst supporting us as parents navigate revision support and which papers was going to be best suited to him. He’s come on more than we could have imagined and that’s down to David. We will always be very grateful for helping him through his science GCSEs but more importantly helping our son believe he is more than capable of achieving things which may at first seem out of reach.
